The official trims of the electrified truck have not been announced yet. However, the most popular ones are expected, including Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie and Limited, as well as the upscale Tungsten trim, which is the only one confirmed so far. As for the RAM 1500 REV and its price, we are still waiting for official data. According to some sources, the starting cost should hover around $70,000 to $80,000 or more, and could potentially exceed $100,000 for the Tungsten trim.
2027 RAM 1500 Ramcharger: a truly unique powertrain
What makes the RAM 1500 REV unique is, without a doubt, its powertrain, which is a first in the industry. The truck is fitted with two electric drive modules (250 kW at the front plus 248 kW at the rear) and a 92 kWh battery, as well as a 130 W alternator powered by a gasoline engine, namely the well-known 3.6 L Pentastar V6.
This new setup enables impressive output and capability. You get 663 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of maximum torque (target output), and it can go from 0 to 98 km/h in only 4.4 seconds, which is remarkable for a truck of this size.
This arrangement allows the new electric RAM 1500 to offer an overall range of 1,110 km. As if that were not enough, the system can also function as a generator to power your home during an outage, or to run tools on worksites, camping equipment or even another vehicle.

Towing and payload
It is impossible to pick the right pickup without checking towing and payload. On that front, you will not be disappointed. The targeted maximum towing capacity is 14,000 lbs. (6,350 kg), which exceeds the gasoline RAM 1500 trims and will make it a reference in its segment. The expected payload is 2,600 lbs. (1,179 kg).

The all-new electrified RAM pickup will be built on the STLA platform so it can house the battery efficiently. The exterior design will follow the manufacturer's latest trends for a modern, muscular style. It will still maintain its own unique character with, for example, a front end in the same colour as the body to distinguish it from its gasoline counterparts.
If you opt for the top of the range, you will have access to the most luxurious Tungsten trim to date. It benefits from premium leather seating, genuine wood trim, a new exceptional sound system and several other additions.
