The full-size 2026 RAM 1500, sold at a base price of $58,690, is back this year with a new trim and the reemergence of an iconic powertrain. In fact, while the brand new Express trim finds its spot in between the Tradesman and the Big Horn, the very popular 5.7 L HEMI V8 makes a strong comeback, to everyone's delight. 2026 marks an important turning point for performance enthusiasts, who will be thrilled to find the HEMI V8 back under the hood of the all-new RAM. This powertrain will make a late entry and will be added to the three engine options that were available on the outgoing model. The RAM 1500 equipped with the HEMI will propel you with 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of maximum torque.

The new RAM 1500 introduces two major innovations for 2025: the arrival of new Hurricane engines and the introduction of the Tungsten trim, the most luxurious to date.
As standard, the RAM 1500 still features the eTorque. Replacing the RAM HEMI, new more powerful engines make their debut: the 3 L inline 6-cylinder Hurricanes. The base trim develops 420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque, while the high-performance trim peaks at 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque!

There are no major changes made to the 2024 RAM 1500; the model is basically the same as the 2023 model-year.
However, this will be the last model year for the 5.7-liter V8 engine and the powerful turbocharged 6.2-liter V8. This year also marks the very last for the TRX trim, which will be removed from the catalog as of next year.
