For 2024, the Jeep Wrangler –offered at a very competitive price-, provides you with even greater performance, a redesigned exterior style and a more user friendly interior. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at the 2024 Jeep Wrangler and all that it has to offer!
First and foremost, you will notice a new radiator grille that is mostly inspired by the one found on the Jeep Rubicon 20th anniversary. This seven vertical slot grille is thinner and the textured black slots provide the vehicle with even more depth, while also allowing for greater space for the Warn winch.
This optional front winch now allows the Jeep Wrangler to tow up to 8,000 pounds (3,628 kg) with the first ever full-float rear axle. Without it, the towing capacity is 5,000 pounds (2,268 kg).
Another novelty: the Jeep Wrangler is now equipped with side air bag inflatable curtains for even more safety on board, especially for passengers in the first and second rows.
Inside, there are also new features: you will have access to the Uconnect 5 multimedia system that offers:
You will also find 12- way power seats, a higher performance rear suspension, an outstanding 100:1 crawl ratio, and so much more.
Finally, the Jeep manufacturer is launching a new 4xe trim –a plug-in hybrid version. The new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X is also being added, and offers more equipment. The specs sheet is much different from other Jeep models, including the 2023 Jeep Gladiator specs.
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler is still being built on a body-on-frame platform and has four protection plates that are used to cover the fuel tank, the transfer case and the oil container for the transmission.
When it comes to powertrains, you will either have the 3.6 L V6 engine, or a 2.0 L 4- cylinder turbo. We will come back to these.
The midsize SUV also has a five-link coil spring suspension on all four corners.
The different trims of the 2024 Wrangler also come with different driving modes and an infotainment system that now offers an adventure guide app for trails.
You will also find over 85 different active and passive safety features on the vehicle, including outboard seat belts in second row with pretensioners and load limiters.
Finally, on all trims, you will have access to the Uconnect 5 multimedia system, a 12.3- inch screen and so much more.
The Jeep Wrangler –offered at a base price of $ 45,965- is offered with a 3.6 L V6 engine with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. maximum torque. As an option, you could choose a 2.0 L 4- cylinder turbo for 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. maximum torque.
Moreover, you could choose between a 6- speed manual transmission and an 8- speed automatic transmission. In both cases, you won’t be disappointed by the performance levels.
It offers the choice between 10 body colors, and it will be easy to spot with the 17- inch black aluminum wheels, the automatic headlights and superior quality soft top. Finally, the Sport trim is offered with either two or four doors.
The Sport S trim adds new features, such as power heated side mirrors, power door lock and unlock and power windows, along with a safety alarm.
You will recognize it straight away thanks to the 17- inch grey aluminum wheels and the Gorilla glass windshield.
Finally, the Sport S trim (two or four doors) can be equipped with adaptive cruise control and front collision alert, among other things.
This 2024 Jeep Wrangler trim –offered at a base price of $ 52,965- takes you further on your adventures with 33- inch off-road tires, LED headlights and fog lights, a locking rear differential and a trailer hitch.
It is easily recognizable with the steel gravel protector and higher ground clearance. With this trim, you can truly feel comfortable driving off the beaten path. Extremely skilled for off-road driving, the Willys (two or four doors) is the perfect vehicle for unforgettable adventures.
The Rubicon four doors is easy to recognize, even from afar, with the aluminum wheels equipped with 33- inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tires and its higher ground clearance.
With a Tru-Lock power locking differential and the Rock-Trac 4x4 system, it is ready for anything! The 2024 Rubicon is a true adventurer and stands out even more in rougher trails.
With the auxiliary switches, enhanced fabric cloth upholstered seats, LED headlights and fog lights, it sure to seduce you. We could, of course, focus on the long list of features it offers, but even before diving into that, it is easy to appreciate its adventurous spirit.
On top of the features offered on the previous trim –the Rubicon-, this trim of the Jeep Wrangler comes with a steel bumper that can be equipped with a winch, Nappa leather upholstered seats with heated power seats, a hard top and an integrated navigation system.
This luxurious trim is also equipped with a sound proof windshield and thicker rugs for even more insulation, the Park-Sense park assist system, an integrated front off-road camera, the complete Xtreme 35 package, fender flares and a hard top that matches the body color. You can also expect a myriad of other features with the all-new 2024 Rubicon X.
