The all-new 2026 Jeep Recon, with Canadian pricing to be announced soon, will be the very first and only 100% electric SUV to proudly wear Jeep’s famous "Trail Rated" badge. Along with serious off-road capability, the Moab trim delivers 650 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of maximum torque, and can tow up to 3,300 lbs. (1,497 kg). Here is what this vehicle has in store.
We still do not have official pricing or the full trim lineup for the 2026 Jeep Recon in Canada. We do know the highly popular off-road-focused Moab has been confirmed, and it will be the first to arrive in Canada and the United States. It should be joined by Trail, Overland and Rubicon trims. U.S. pricing is expected to start around $65,000.

Since the Moab trim of the 2026 Jeep Recon EV will be the first to arrive, it is the one for which we have the most official details. That includes its powertrain, which ensures you never run short on power. Details are shown in the table below:

The Jeep Recon is built to deliver the same open-air experience as the Wrangler, in an electrified package. You can remove the doors and rear windows without tools and complete the entire process in only a few minutes. You can also opt for the available Sky One-Touch roof, a two-panel panoramic glass roof that opens at the press of a button.
You will also enjoy an illuminated seven-slot radiator grille, plus a wide selection of body colours so you can personalize your vehicle to your taste.
Inside, the focus is on practicality with durable materials that are easy to clean and resistant to scratches and stains. There is generous storage, including a two-tier centre console. Despite its mission, it remains luxurious and refined, and provides very comfortable seating.
The Recon is a highly connected SUV. It introduces the first 14.5-inch Jeep screen that is intuitive and easy to use, with enough brightness and clarity to be readable even in direct sunlight. There is also an excellent balance between digital and physical controls.

Everything You NEED to Know About the New Jeep Recon #jeep #recon
According to Jeep’s electric plan –which focuses, among other things, on four all-new fully electric models to the American manufacturer’s catalog between now and 2025- we can already admire the superb 2024 Jeep Recon utility. Although similar to the Wrangler, the Recon has a more imposing and massive silhouette and extreme off-road capabilities.
The Jeep Recon should be commercialized starting in 2024, with a possibility of pre-ordering your own copy later on in the year. The Recon will have removable doors and roof, and the rare images show the famous seven-slot grille with lighted contour –the contour on the headlights should be lighted as well-, placed atop a massive bumper on which you will find two blue towing hooks, a feature that is also repeated at the back.
The hood has a flat indentation and the lower body, the upper part and bumpers are black. You will also find the spare wheel at the back, framed by square taillights that remind us of the Jeep Renegade, and black door handles that are flush with the doors.
Although we do not have any official information, some websites claim that the electric range for the 2024 Jeep Recon could surpass 800 kilometers.
Equipped with BF Goodrich all-terrain tires, the Recon could offer several driving modes, thanks to the Selec-Terrain system, found on all Jeep models. It should also be equipped with a power locking differential, without forgetting the e-locker axle technology.
The Stellantis Group confirms that the Recon will be built on the STLA Large platform, which means that electric range should in fact reach up to 800 kilometers. What is the STLA Large platform? It is one of the four platforms to be exclusively utilized for the manufacturer’s electric vehicles:
